Conduit's SMS notification program lets staff at subscribing healthcare facilities receive text-message alerts when a new patient referral arrives. The program is optional, transactional only, and available exclusively to authenticated Conduit users who choose to enable it. By opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms.
When enabled, you will receive transactional notifications alerting you that a new referral has arrived at your facility. Messages identify only the referring source and include a secure link to view the referral in Conduit — they never contain patient health information. This program sends transactional alerts only; it does not send promotional content.
Message frequency varies and depends on how many referrals arrive at your facility. You will generally receive approximately one message per new referral. Some facilities may receive several messages per day; others may receive none.
Conduit does not charge a fee for SMS notifications. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
SMS notifications are off by default. To opt in, you must take two explicit, affirmative actions while signed in to your Conduit account:
You can stop receiving SMS notifications at any time. After you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. Use any of the following methods:

Conduit uses your mobile phone number solely to deliver the transactional notifications described in these SMS Terms, and for no other purpose. Conduit does not share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in, or your consent data to any third party. Your information is never used or shared for promotional purposes. For full details on how Conduit handles your information, see our Privacy Policy.
Your consent to receive SMS notifications is not a condition of purchasing or using Conduit. If you choose not to enable SMS, all other Conduit features — including in-app notifications and email notifications — continue to function normally.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. SMS notifications are supported on most major U.S. carriers, but delivery cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances.
The SMS notification program is available only to authenticated Conduit users with a valid U.S. mobile phone number who are at least 18 years of age. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for, or are authorized to enroll, the mobile number you provide.
Conduit may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
